June 2025
Four intense and inspiring days at High End 2025 in Munich are behind us - filled with engaging conversations, curious visitors, and consistently positive feedback on our products. At the center of it all: the new MUTEC ASTRALIUS.
With the MUTEC ASTRALIUS, we presented our first-ever reference-class re-clocking D/A converter. Equipped with 1G-Clock technology, REVIVE Re-Clocking, and a fully balanced dual-mono architecture, the device immediately caught the attention of audiophile visitors. Initial listening impressions and conversations with members of the press, dealers, distribution partners, and industry professionals make one thing clear: the ASTRALIUS has the potential to set new standards.
With the ASTRALIUS, we wanted to prove that high-end re-clocking can make a decisive difference in the world of DACs as well. The show fully confirmed that. The enthusiasm from visitors was overwhelming. It was fantastic to see how many people share our passion for perfect digital playback.
- Christian Peters, Managing Director, MUTEC
Our dedicated listening station was met with great enthusiasm. Here, visitors had the chance to experience the new ASTRALIUS live for the very first time. People of all ages took the opportunity to test the D/A converter in a real-world setup. The system consisted of a laptop running Roon software, connected to the ASTRALIUS via USB. External clocking was provided by the REF10 SE120 using our Prime Select 75-ohm cable, ensuring ultra-low-noise timing. For headphones, we used the Meze 99 Classics - a setup that left a lasting impression on many listeners.
The demand to hear the ASTRALIUS live was overwhelming. Especially younger visitors headed straight for the listening station, asked insightful questions, and clearly demonstrated how important the topic of digital music playback has become.
Alongside our new product, many visitors were equally excited by our proven REF10 series clock generators, the MC3+ USB audio re-clocker, the MC1.2+ format converter, and our PRIME SELECT cable series. We were particularly happy to connect with long-time MUTEC users who shared their setups and experiences - and to meet so many new faces.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all visitors, our partners, and the entire MUTEC team for a successful show. A special thank-you goes to our loyal fans and customers who have supported us over the years, shared their impressive MUTEC systems, and told us about their listening experiences. We're also deeply grateful to our business partners for their ongoing support and valuable collaboration.
