MUTEC at Guangzhou High End 2025: Three setups with RelyOn Audio - including impressions from the listening room.

At the end of 2025, MUTEC presented at the Guangzhou High End Show, held from December 26 to 28 in Guangzhou, northwest of Hong Kong. The event is considered a key meeting point for China's hi-fi scene, bringing together manufacturers, dealers, media, and a technically enthusiastic audience. Across 20,000 m2 with more than 400 listening and demo rooms, more than 200 exhibitors and over 1,000 brands showcased their products. Instead of being a simple display event, the focus was on the listening experience - a show format built primarily around sound demonstrations.

MUTEC was on site, represented by our Chinese pro-audio distributor RelyOn Audio, and covered three presentation areas. Together with partners such as RME, ME-Geithain, Dynaudio, and ART, various systems were demonstrated - all driven by a clear mission: to route digital signals through the system as stably and interference-free as possible. This is exactly where MUTEC comes in - with low phase noise clocking, re-clocking, and reliable interfaces for modern digital audio setups.

Especially in the acoustically demanding environment of a hotel showroom, it became clear how strongly a precise time base and clean signal conditioning can influence sound. Many visitors listened closely, compared, and brought their own experiences from often complex personal setups.

Visitor reactions were consistently positive, especially when it came to targeted questions about digital optimization. One interested attendee from Shaoguan summed it up like this: High sample rates, a precise 10 MHz reference, and downstream re-clocking led to audibly greater clarity and detail, especially in the lower midrange and bass.
Another enthusiastic visitor from Beijing shared his practical experience: he already uses multiple MC1.2+ units in his setup and expanded his system after the show - convinced by the benefits of running multiple re-clockers in series.
The MUTEC ASTRALIUS in particular attracted a lot of attention. Praised were its modern converter platform, the 10 MHz interface, and the ability to combine clocking and re-clocking as an overall concept. Several listeners described the sound as clean and clear
- digital precision delivered with an organic, analog
sense of ease.

The show in Guangzhou once again demonstrated how strong the interest is in perfectly matched digital chains. It proved that the benefits of clocking, re-clocking, and modern interfaces are best communicated in real-world listening sessions. We're taking strong momentum from these days and look forward to presenting new setups and solutions in 2026 as well - with the same goal: digital sound that inspires musically.
