July 2025
Packed halls, lively conversations, enthusiastic feedback: OTOTEN 2025 in Tokyo was a major success - with the MUTEC ASTRALIUS and MC3+ USB Gold drawing particular attention.
On June 21 and 22, approximately 8,650 visitors attended OTOTEN 2025 at the Tokyo International Forum - about 40% more than the previous year. Notably, a larger number of younger guests joined the many returning visitors - a clear sign that high-quality audio technology continues to fascinate the next generation.
The MUTEC booth, hosted by our Japanese distributor Hibino, was bustling with activity on both days. Long-time users, curious newcomers, and fresh faces took the opportunity to experience our products live. The MC3+ USB Gold Limited Edition in particular sparked many conversations. Visitors praised its ability to improve devices without a clock input - a feature many described as exceptional
. Even seasoned listeners were impressed by the audible improvements in sound quality.
Even more attention was drawn to our upcoming re-clocking D/A converter, the MUTEC ASTRALIUS. From the very first demonstrations, interest was high: conversations revolved around pricing, availability, and technical details. Feedback was consistently positive - especially regarding sound quality, design, and ease of use.
Our Japanese team was fully engaged throughout the event and summed up the audience's response as follows:
About half of the conversations were focused on the new ASTRALIUS DAC. You could feel it right away - the combination of re-clocker and DAC clearly resonated with people.
OTOTEN 2025 once again demonstrated the vibrancy of Japan's hi-fi scene - and the strong demand for innovative digital audio solutions. We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and are already looking forward to next year.
